As a sociologist that also teaches education classes, I like the concept presented here. Now if we could only get the bureaucracy out of the way and let the funds and programs do what they are meant to do with fewer people in 'management' or 'oversight', I'd be happy.

Interesting that the WI governor cut taxes for wealthy/businesses, then had to close a budget shortfall. He started as gov with a surplus.

I completely agree with you. Teaching in a college, it is evident to me that not all college age people are either cut out for college or even want to be here.
